Our Impact
What begins in the classroom reaches families, workplaces, and generations. This is the work — and the men living it out.

Inside the 1440 Promise Classroom
ThePitch Room
An idea is only the beginning.
Participants develop a business idea — think through how it could work — and step forward to pitch it before experienced entrepreneurs.
Then comes the part that matters most. They listen. They answer questions. They receive constructive feedback. They rethink assumptions. They sharpen the idea — the presentation — and themselves.
See How the Pitch WorksFrom Idea to Pitch
The room is where preparation meets real-world perspective.
The Idea
A participant begins with a business idea — a problem worth solving, or an opportunity he sees.
The Plan
He works through the concept — customer, value, execution — and what would have to be true for the idea to work.
The Pitch
He stands before entrepreneurs and communicates the idea.
The Questions
Entrepreneurs ask questions, challenge assumptions, identify gaps, and offer real-world perspective.
The Refine
The process gives the participant an opportunity to sharpen his thinking, strengthen his communication, and identify specific ways the idea could be improved.
Then he has tostand upand make the case.
Real-World Perspective
Experience Becomes an Investment in Someone Else.
The entrepreneurs in the room are not there simply to judge an idea.
They bring years of decisions — wins, failures, lessons, and perspective — to the table.
They listen to the pitch, ask questions, identify blind spots, and offer constructive feedback that can help a participant think more clearly about what comes next.
The business idea matters.
The man developing it matters more.
The goal is not to tell a participant what to think. It is to create an environment where he can practice thinking, communicating, listening, adapting, and taking responsibility for an idea of his own.
You've built something.
Now pour that experience into someone else.
Take a Seat at the Table.
Business experience carries lessons that cannot be learned from a textbook alone. If you are an entrepreneur or business leader interested in encouraging participants through thoughtful questions, constructive feedback, and real-world perspective — we'd love to hear from you.
